About Epochfall

A World Consumed by Darkness

Epochfall is a dark, grim strategy experience built around one question: what would you do if humanity’s last chance depended on you?

Across three distinct eras — Medieval, Steampunk, and Sci-Fi — humanity fights against forces that grow increasingly impossible to overcome.

You will command defenses, shape the battlefield, manage resources, discover powerful abilities, and make decisions that determine how each battle unfolds.

But behind the armies and the destruction lies something much larger.

A mysterious figure known only as the Wanderer appears throughout humanity’s final struggles. He does not seem bound to a single era, and his true nature remains unknown.

Is he human?

A machine?

Something else entirely?

No one knows why he continues to fight.

They only know that whenever humanity falls, the cycle begins again.

Key Features

Dark Cinematic World

Three Distinct Eras

One figure connects humanity’s struggles across the ages. His origins, motives, and true nature remain unknown.

A World Built Around Repeated Cycles

Humanity has fallen before. The question is whether this cycle can finally be broken.

Faction Identity

Each faction has its own visual language, units, technology, strengths, weaknesses, and approach to warfare.

A Story That Spans Ages

What begins as a battle for survival gradually reveals a much larger mystery surrounding humanity, the Wanderer, and the forces behind the endless cycle.

Story

The Last Age Begins

Humanity has lost.

Not once.

Not twice.

Again and again.

Across different ages, civilizations rise, fight, and ultimately fall. Kingdoms burn. Cities collapse. Machines turn against their creators. Entire armies disappear beneath waves of enemies.

And yet, the cycle continues.

At the center of these repeating catastrophes is a figure known only as the Wanderer.

He appears in different forms throughout the ages, always carrying the same burden: to find a way to save humanity.

But nobody knows why.

Nobody knows where he came from.

Nobody even knows whether he is truly human.

A man?

A machine?

A god?

Or something humanity itself created and has long since forgotten?

The Wanderer never explains himself.

He simply keeps moving forward.

Every cycle brings new battles. New civilizations. New enemies. New failures.

But perhaps this time something is different.

Perhaps humanity does not have to lose.

Perhaps the cycle can be broken.

Epochfall is the beginning of that journey.
